An execution whose log has expired
An execution keeps two kinds of record. Its log holds the execution's events and its raw output; HarmFlow deletes it once the retention period has passed. Its record holds what the execution was and what it did, and HarmFlow keeps it with no time limit, as the task's history. When you open an old execution and find no events, nothing was lost by mistake: only its log is gone.
What stays
The record of an execution is never deleted for being old. An execution whose log has expired is still listed in the task's history, with:
- Its outcome, such as Completed or Failed.
- Its work item, such as the issue it worked on.
- Its attempts. The Attempts view still lists each attempt with its harness and its outcome.
- Its pull request. The Results view still shows the work item and its pull request, with a link to it.
What goes
Only the log is deleted, after the retention period. Once it is gone:
- Events. The Events view is empty, with no events listed.
- Raw output. The Raw output view shows no capture, only the notice below.
The notice
Opening such an execution shows one notice, which says that its log has expired and that its record is kept: "This execution's log has expired under the retention period; its record is kept."
One task's history
To see the history of one task, choose it in the Task filter of the History screen. The list then holds only that task's executions, the ones whose log has expired included.
