Notices held while no dashboard is open

HarmFlow tells you what your tasks do — a failure, for example — with a notice. You can turn off Show HarmFlow in the menu bar in Settings and close the dashboard: the daemon keeps running your tasks, but nothing of HarmFlow is on screen to show a notice. A notice that comes up meanwhile is not lost. HarmFlow holds it.

No notice is lost

While the menu bar icon is off and no dashboard window is open, HarmFlow keeps every notice. If two tasks fail while the dashboard is closed, both notices are kept, one for each task.

Where they appear

When the dashboard next opens, it shows the held notices as unread. The bell in the header shows how many there are, and its list shows each notice with its title, newest first.

They stay unread

Opening the dashboard does not mark the held notices read. They stay unread until you read them.

No system notification for them

The dashboard does not raise a macOS notification for a notice it only now shows. Those notifications are for the notices that arrive while the app runs.
